Burke & Herbert Bank Celebrates Falls Church Branch Remodeling
Updates Unveiled at Open House
Alexandria, VA – Burke & Herbert Bank invited the public to an Open House to experience its newly remodeled Falls Church branch, on Friday, May 20. The remodeled branch features an updated interior designed to offer a more comfortable, friendly and inviting place to conduct business. Customers will now enjoy a refreshed lobby, a new customer greeting station to welcome everyone entering the branch, and redesigned offices that provide more space, comfort and privacy for customer interactions. The new teller line features warm wood tones and enhanced merchandising displays.
The branch, which is located at 225 West Broad Street, has been a landmark at the corner of Maple Avenue and West Broad Street since its opening on July 10, 1999. Burke & Herbert Bank itself has been in business since 1852, and attributes its longevity to its community commitment and its commitment to old-fashioned customer service blended with modern conveniences that meet the needs of customers "on-the-go," such as Online Banking and its Mobile Banking app.
The Open House events kicked off in the morning with a formal ribbon-cutting. Numerous dignitaries attended, including Falls Church Mayor David Tarter and other elected officials, members of the Falls Church Chamber of Commerce, and Bank executives. Product specialists from a variety of Bank departments were also available for one-on-one consultations or general questions. And there were games, prizes and refreshments throughout the day.
