CONGRATULATIONS TO Regional VIDEO CONTEST Winners

Two students, one from West Potomac High School in Alexandria, VA and the other from George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester, KY, were recognized by the Bank for their superior work in creating videos that promote good money management to other teens!

As part of a bank industry campaign to build financial knowledge among young consumers, students 13-18 years of age across the nation were invited to participate in the 2024-25 Lights, Camera, Save! Video Contest, hosted by the American Bankers Association (ABA). Burke & Herbert hosted video regional contests in its markets across five states: Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Kentucky, and West Virginia. Two of the Bank’s entrants advanced to the national contest and have the opportunity to win up to $5000 from the ABA.

National winners will be announced by the ABA on February 24, 2025.

The Lights, Camera, Save! Video Contest is an annual program offered to member banks by the American Bankers Association. Burke & Herbert Bank has hosted a regional contest since 2015. Our student entrants have collectively won close to $20,000!
