Your Burke & Herbert Bank Visa® Debit Card or Business Visa® Debit Card is your key to ATM access and purchasing convenience. Follow these important tips to keep your Card safe and secure:

  • Keep your Card in a safe place, just like you would cash, credit cards or checks.
  • Notify us immediately if your Card is lost or stolen, or if you suspect unauthorized use. 
  • Keep your Personal Identification Number (PIN) a secret. Never write it down anywhere, especially on your Card.
  • Do not provide your Card information over the telephone unless you initiate the call. Never provide your PIN over the telephone.
  • Through our card management alerts & protection feature within Burke & Herbert Bank Online & Mobile Banking, you can set debit card spending and transaction alerts or block international transactions, select merchant categories or transaction types altogether.
