Elena Shipina

Commercial & Industrial Lending

Elena Shipina is a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager on the Bank’s Commercial & Industrial Lending team. She has extensive experience in commercial banking, including business development and credit management. In her role, Elena leads a team supporting the loan origination and portfolio management for the Bank’s Commercial & Industrial division.

Prior to joining Burke & Herbert Bank, Elena was a Senior Strategist and Commercial Lender with Wells Fargo Middle Market Banking serving a wide range of financial needs of commercial and non-profit clients in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Elena holds an MBA in Business Finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Master’s of Science in International Business from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University in Russia.
