Alexandria, VA, Feb. 26, 2019 – Burke & Herbert Bank announced today that it is again sponsoring Keep Prince William Beautiful’s annual Teen Art Contest, which this year features the theme “Protecting our Pollinators.”
The art contest is open to any ninth-through-12th grade student in Prince William County. Submissions must be an original artwork depicting the theme “Protecting Our Pollinators.” The winning entrant will receive a $500 scholarship. The second- and third-place winners will receive $350 and $150, respectively. The deadline for entries is April 1, 2019.
“This contest is a fun and engaging way to inspire students to use their creativity to build awareness. As a local Bank, we are honored to be a part of a program that helps teens recognize an important environmental message and have the opportunity to earn a valuable scholarship as well,” said Terry Cole, Executive Vice President of Burke & Herbert Bank.
